Trump's Family Member Receives Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Before LPGA First Appearance
The rising star boasts substantial social media following
Kai Trump will have plenty of prominent backers as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses several courses worldwide and often competes against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she mentioned.
She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"He essentially suggested to go out there and relax," she added.
"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on running the country, so he's rather occupied."
As an amateur, Kai has participated in only three events this year and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
However she can receive tips from golf legend, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive person. He suggested me to play, have fun, adapting to the flow."
Kai will face several the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA stated that her participation exposes golf to wider groups, particularly with youth audiences.
The social media influencer boasts substantial online presence and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness label.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
