A American-Palestinian youth after completing nine months in imprisonment by Israel without being charged was released.
Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 at the time of his arrest last February throughout the West Bank territory, during a family visit while residing in Florida for allegedly throwing stones against settlement residents, claims he consistently denied.
American diplomatic officials applauded the news of Mohammed's release.
Mohammed, now 16, needed medical care for treatment immediately after release, relatives told the media.
They said he is visibly pale and thin, and is suffering from conditions contracted in captivity.
Via family representatives, the youth's uncle conveyed their "overwhelming sense of relief".
The uncle, Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "living a horrific and endless nightmare" throughout the past nine months.
"At this moment, we're concentrating on ensuring Mohammed receives urgent medical care necessary for his recovery following exposure to mistreatment by authorities and inhumane conditions throughout his detention."
American authorities announced ongoing to offer diplomatic assistance for the Ibrahim family.
{"US government authorities has no higher priority than the safety and security of American nationals"," it added.
Twenty-seven US lawmakers submitted a formal letter to the state department and the administration, requesting additional efforts to release him.
Mohammed's parent, parent of four children operating an ice cream shop based in Tampa, previously claimed Mohammed acknowledged allegations regarding stone throwing after being assaulted by soldiers.
He had not seen nor direct contact since February, receiving updates exclusively what had happened to him via legal paperwork.
Mohammed was held without charge within Ofer penitentiary on the West Bank.
It is also home to grown detainees, some of whom have been convicted of serious terrorism offences including killings.
Approximately 350 Palestinian minors in security custody being held in Israeli jails, according to the Israeli Prison Service.
Many have never been charged while advocacy organizations, including UN bodies, say some have suffered mistreatment and torture.
Subsequent to his liberation, the uncle stated they would maintain their efforts for justice for his cousin family member Sayfollah.
The 20-year-old dual US citizen per medical officials succumbed to assault by radical settlers amid clashes last July.
At the time, military authorities reported authorities were looking into reports a Palestinian civilian was deceased.
Mohammed and Sayfollah were employed together in the family ice cream shop based in Florida.
No indictments occurred for the cousin's murder.
"We anticipate the American government to protect our families," the uncle stated.
