Eulogies Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Remain Under Wraps.

Well beyond 14 days after the tragic deaths of celebrated filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, friends and colleagues persist in remembering the couple.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who starred in Reiner's 1987 classic *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he finally felt ready to post publicly about his profound loss.

"Adequate time has passed that I can finally articulate my loss into words," shared Elwes, noting that his introductory moment with Reiner left him smitten. "Once we started spending more time together I understood this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor uploaded archival material from the film, adding that he cannot recall "one day without mirth".

"The film is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Principles that Rob held dear. That is part of the many reasons he was the perfect person to guide it," Elwes continued.

He additionally honored Michele Reiner, stating: "To say that they were a great team would be an understatement. My heart still aches every time I recall you." He ended with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Colleague and Comrade

In a different essay, legendary director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the lead role.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked beautifully with his co-stars, and he understood the human predicament of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Restricted

In a new development, a Los Angeles court official decided to bar the publication of the Reiners' medical examiner's reports, at the request from the LAPD.

A judicial mandate issued a embargo on the cases to prohibit the public release of "related notes, evidence and photographs" pertaining to the ongoing investigation.

The Medical Examiner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the consequence of homicide, with a official listing citing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Aftermath and Reactions

Following the deaths, public figures offered different responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump commented on the matter, offering controversial claims that were met with immediate backlash by several individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his voice to the detractors recently. Conversing on his program, Rogan labeled the statements as "shocking" and implied they revealed a troubling absence of compassion.

Rogan concluded by suggesting that an aide could have acted when the decision to comment on the death was made.
